I never thought I would photograph a deployment but when my husband deployed for the first time I felt weird going without my camera. Next thing I new I was taking photos. Wanting to preserve the memories to show our kids some day.

The USS Detroit came home to Mayport Florida after four months at Sea. Homecoming looked a little different this time with Covid but it was equally as sweet and sentimental.
